Acklins
Acklins and Crooked Island remain almost as natural today as they were hundreds of years ago. Separated by a 500-square-mile lagoon known as the Bight of Acklins, both islands are a haven for boating, bonefishing, snorkeling, and diving. The Bight of Acklins is also a 1,000 square foot lagoon and Acklins and Crooked Island curve around it. The water here is shallow, often no deeper than knee-height, even five miles off-shore. The conditions are an angler's dream.
